Boarding kennels south/southeast Spain

My spanish is pretty much limited to saying hello and ordering from a menu.

We are going to do a counterclockwise tour of Spain this winter and are [horrors] looking for a chance of a doggie break from our 38kg labrador.

She loves our local kennels and enjoys a chance to spend time with other dogs.

So....which areas of Spain are you looking to kennel within?

It's a very big country....but only on certain Brit-infested coastal stretches are you likely to find kennels where anyone speaks the foreign lingo called English.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. We plan to potter around, first Santander down to Cadiz and the to wander around the coast up to the NorthEast.

For sure we will be passing through the areas popular with the British.

We would appreciate any tips so we could spontaneously pop herself into a Kennel for a few days while we do things that aren't easy with a dog.

There are some kennels ar Alhurin la Grande just west of Malaga they are English owned. We used them 2 years ago. We were very happy with the way they looked after our Westie when we went to Morocco for three weeks. The price was reasonable as well. If you google kennels Alurhin la Grande you should find them.
