m0nde
Hi does anyone know the correct torque setting for the sump plug drain bolt please? Mine had a flay washer and I was not happy last time a did it up. I do not want to over tighten it! We traced black soot marks on our Aventgarde to the pillars behind the seat belt top anchor points. Poor sealing at the bottom where the cab joins the body (plywood poorly cut) was rectified with sealant and expanding foam. We occasionally get a wiff of exhaust fumes generally a low speed and on roundabouts. Any ideas where else these can still be entering? Mickt
Is the tail on the exhaust long enough to clear body work
Brambles
The sump plug washer ( crushable copper washer) should be replaced every time plug is removed. It should be tightened until higher resistance is felt and washer is crushed fully. There is no torque specified in my data list. You should not reuse sump plug washers.
