jupe
Whilst on our last jaunt around Europe we met some people in passing, you you do, who were on their way back home (Sweden) having overwintered in Sicilly. The idea of doing this appeals, something a bit different to the usual Spain and Portugal, but I have a couple of concerns. Firstly it's a long way to drive although I understand it's possible to go by boat from Genoa - not sure what the crossing would be like in say early November. Although this year we did spent some time in Northern Italy, we've been told the further south you are the less safe it is. Has anyone any experience of wintering in Italy, any info, hints and tips would be most welcome. Jupe
