Mikey Posted September 15, 2013 Share Posted September 15, 2013 the West Sands are a great place to park both during the day and overnight however there was an article in the local paper which maybe of interest to some. I have contacted the local council asking if they could provide facilities for motorhomes with a charge as all services are available, however to date no reply. Have never stayed there myself being a localish resident but it looks like a nice stopover. "it’s not sustainable for so many vehicles to park up and empty their camper van toilets at the toilet blocks.” Perhaps the toilet sewers go straight out to sea.. Stayed overnight in August with about 6 others so not as bad as reported.
