Canal side sites

Hi Zak;

A few weeks ago we stayed at a site in Benson, Oxon; you can find details on the ukcampsites.co.uk website.

Not many pitches, and about half close to canal. Good facilities, not cheap.

You can also find canalside sites there by using the forums search facility.

It's been a few years since we went but Grindley Brook (Norh Shrophire) was okay..

..an ordinary little village (pub etc) and nice enough walks along the canal ..and walkable into Whitchurch(..although we didn't, so don't know what the walk in is like)..

Not sure if I'd travel vast distances to get there though....

(..I'm not really selling it, am I... (lol) )

It's actually right on the River Thames, right next to Benson Lock on the A4074 here 51.619958,-1.115161

Plenty of boats to see from your pitch & a good Restaurant 50 yds away.
