Alde Boiler

Get up close and try to establish if the leak is from a hose connector (easy to fix) or from the boiler itself, which is going to necessitate a support call.

We did have a similar issue last year in Spain but with our Truma Combi where there was actually a split in a weld. We just drained the boiler (heating still worked fine) and used a kettle for hot water. Showers on site so manageable. Truma replaced boiler under warranty on return.

Which boiler type? Compact 3000 or 3010.

I take it you mean that when you run the hot tap, you get a leak and not when you run the heating system.

If it is the 3000, you can remove the top cover easily. Check for signs of a leak. There are no pipes that come out of the bottom as far as I know, so it is either a loose pipe fitting on the hot water line or an internal fault on the boiler pipework. That would be my guess without seeing it.
