autosleeper harmony heating

I am thinking of buying a harmony 1999, Would like to know if hot water and heating is standard if so what type/make.

...it will have been supplied from new with both.

 

The water heating will be by Carver Cascade (GE) and I suspect the space heating will be by Carver P4 (I think Propex had been taken over by then).

 

You should be aware that Carver were bought out by Truma, and both units are obsolescent, and (some)spares may be difficult to source.

 

I would check the functionality of both before buying, but would not worry unduly about future issues, as there are options to replace both units with something similar without major surgery (but, of course, at a cost).
