Oddly, when i plug into the mains at home, when i use a socket from the house, all ok, when i use a socket from the garage i get the RP light on too. Guest JudgeMental
your reverse polarity sound like it has reverse polarity...just double check with a reverse polarity meter......is it a UK van? :D
sshortcircuit
Have you the tools and ability to check that the supply you are connecting into and your hook up cable are correct?
Iain Strachan
Hi, previous posts would indicate that you have a Kontiki 2004, so have you changed your van or has this just happened, it would help us to respond.
Brian Kirby
Checking the hook-up cable should be easy, and it would not be so surprising if one or other end has its live and neutral reversed. If you can wire an ordinary plug, the principle is exactly the same, albeit a bit more fiddly.
tonyishuk
You needs one of these : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Suitable-testing-correctness-standard-trailing/dp/B001KMP50C or similar. Always useful to have in the toolbox Rgds
