Bailey
Would anyone have details of a Vet in the Royan area that would complete a Pet Passport - referably English speaking. We haven't decided on our route back from Spain yet but might spend a couple of nights in the Royan area. Apologies if this question has been asked before. Can't help you with Royan, just ask at anyone of the large campsites there and you'll find something cheaper than the channel ports.
Minicamper
How long do you have now between getting the dog treated and checking in for the crossing? Used to be 24-48 hours. We always found it best to have the dog treated a bit closer to the UK in case there were any unforeseen delays getting back to Calais. The vet at Couhe was convenient, or one at St Quentin, depending on your route back home.

maggyd
Yes its not LESS than 24hrs but up to 5 days, and any town or even village with a vet on route will know what you want on just showing the pet passport, we haven't come across one yet that doesn't speak at least a small amount of English , and it is just the wormer that you need now, I take my own Drontal tab the vet administers it and fills in and stamps the passport. Madge Gentle
There's a Vet at Saint Martin de Seignanx, about 12 miles from Biarritz, who charged €4 in 2012 for completing the Pet Passport requirements - used own tablet. Tel - 05 59 56 55 70 www.votreveto.net/cliniqueduseignanx Bet you can't beat that price!
