ColinB Posted January 4, 2014 Share Posted January 4, 2014 For some time now, whilst sat on the Porta Potti in our campervan, my wife and I have detected a faint whiff of gas. As I write this I can almost picture some of you leaping to the keyboard with various personal and biological solutions to put my mind at rest. However the smell was of Butane, a gas which we have not yet managed to personally produce. All pipe joints and burners have, with much difficulty, been checked and sniffed to the point of hyper-ventilation. No result. Weeks passed until Mrs B's birthday. Candles in cake, search drawer ( Next to above mentioned Potti.) Find gas filled lighter, Empty! It must have had a tiny leak. Why didn't I think of that! Just off to kick myself. Colin.
