JohnP
Places to see in Oxfordshire. Are you in a motorhome or caravan? The C.C. have sites at Henley On Thames, Burford and Woodstock. All with serviced pitches. Numbers 1 and 3 are easy 15 minutes walk into the market towns. Numerous C.L.'s C.and C. Club have a site at Oxford adjacent to the Park and Ride. (Redbridge) Private sites include White Marks farm at Watlington and Swiss farm at Henley. Places to visit include Oxford (with it's dreaming spires), Henley (famous for the Regatta), Burford (Picturesque steep main street). The drive from Henley to Stokenchurch via Stonor and Watlington (all in the Chilterns) to see the Red Kites which are numourous in the area. The villages of Hambledon, Turville and Fingest are worth a look. Thame with the widest High Street in the country. If you are N.T. members there are various places listed including Hughenden Manor, West Wycombe Park, Greys Court, Waddesden Manor.
