Guest JudgeMental Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Just got back from Halfords and had our e bikes/road bike etched and tagged by Met police. they say it does help as even if they have been ground off as it still identifies a stolen bike. they are individually acid etched with red stickers showing they are on bike register. they inforn you by email if found. Halfords also had a free bike service/check going on as well. the Met do this every 3 weeks in diffrent locations in boroughs..it is a Boris initiative :-| we got there early and were attended to immediately, buy the time they did the 3 bikes quite a que for the bike service/tune up....not often you get something useful for free these days but did spend money in store. check your local council/police/Halfords :-D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
