Rayjsj
Sorry can't help, I had a Talbot Express but mine was a Petrol version, I had to measure the dimensions of my fan belt, to get a replacement, that came from a maker of bespoke 'V belts'. As none of the dealers had any stock, And Puegeot Dealers just Laugh, The J5 had lots of interchangeable parts, but they don't now stock them. Good Luck Ray ;-)
flicka
Hi henman - try your local "Industrial Transmission distributor" someone like Brammer (branches in most towns/cities) http://www.brammer.co.uk/ or Eriks http://www.eriks.co.uk/ to find local branches. Take your old one for measurement. They stock many sizes of "V" Belts / Timing Belts & should have cross ref books if your old belt is snapped. George Collings
Or Fenner: http://www.fptgroup.com/distfinder/ Its best to renew before the belt breaks as it much easier to take dimensions of a belt than measuring pulley runs.
henman
Thanks everyone, I now have some more websites to try. My son has also just told me about Ace Motor Parts in Halifax (our home town) who he says are very helpful, so if anyone is local and needs anything they could be worth a try. Want to get it sorted as we are off to France for 4 weeks in June :-> Thanks again Henman
