Rollout Awning sidewalls

Does anyone know of a source for Omnistor/Fiamma sidewalls made out of a lightweight ripstop nylon tent like like material?

We have a rainblocker wall which does the job well but bulky and quite heavy to store. We have used Lillypad windblockers which are fine for wind but not rain showers.

Before I source a sailmaker to do a oneoff using the rainblocker as a template I will be gratefull for any ideas.

Our side walls are made up from an Easi-Canopy, which is the type that you attach to the van at the top, and you insert poles mid-way to form a shelter, that we already had. It was simply cut in half, with stitched on peg tabs at the bottom, and suspended from expandible clothes line props, as per those supplied for the wind blocker. Used with the front end-blocker, it has worked very well for 2 years. It maybe doesn't look professional, since the colours don't match, but, hey, it works for us. Also it is light and takes up little space.. We also carry a Quechua base seconds pop up tent as a drive away awning, just side on to the roll-out, for the occasions when we want to go off-site.

See link above. It was simply cut half way across the length, making 2 sides. It was a little wide, which we altered by simply folding over the edge and stitching. We did this the day before our 1st trip with it, and it worked well. It depends on the height of your awning, height of our awning is about 2.2m, from memory. It's good material, probably as cheap as buying it from a tent repairer. Plus you have a side window, and only need to put the elasticated tabs on one side, as the other side already has them.

Wind lockers can now be bought with a waterproof layer. We've seen them at the show but have no personal experience.

I believe they will also remake your existing windblockers with the waterproof layer, which seems a useful offer ;-)

We met a couple last year with this arrangement and they were very pleased with the product.
