Dave http://uk.reuters.co...eedName=topNews ""The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team said in an advisory released on Monday that the vulnerability in versions 6 to 11 of Internet Explorer could lead to "the complete compromise" of an affected system. The recently established UK National Computer Emergency Response Team issued similar advice to British computer users, saying that in addition to considering alternative browsers, they should make sure their antivirus software is current and regularly updated. spospe
I use I.E. and experience no problems at all. Used it since the days of Windows 95. Current versions in use by myself are: 8 for use with XP and 11 for Win

CliveH
I understood that the latest version of IE was not available for XP - and now that support for XP has gone we have upgraded the old Laptop we had that used this. It is an old Dell that is like an old friend - I just cannot bring myself to bin it even though it hardly ever gets used other than the back-ups back-up.
