Daytripper
Has anyone any advice which is the best camera for a motorhome. I am referring to the ones useful for evidence if involved in an accident.

Dave Newell
The type of vehicle it is fitted to makes little, if any difference to which camera you opt for. Road Hawk is a popular choice but there are many other and some cheaper options available, I recently bought this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321110757069?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 Which I use when road testing customers motorhomes, I also use it on track when motor racing and when out and about in our motorhome. Image quality is not as good as a "Go Pro" for example but is perfectly good enough for my purposes and it does GPS location as well as having a G sensor for sudden accelerations such as might occur in an accident. If you go to Youtube and search for Davey24249 you will find video clips from my camera, I tried to drop a link in here but my tablet doesn't want to play that game tonight. D. StewartJ
I use a Blackvue HD 500GW not cheap but up there with the best. As others ordered addtional power lead and mounting bracket for the car. Wired in so it starts up when ignition switched on.
