robertandjean
Great news for people, like us, with contracts with three. From 1 July will be able in France to use within limits data from your bundle at no extra cost, that is no roaming charges. 3 web site gives details but main restriction appears to be 25Gb a year which is fine for say 3 or 4 months in France but will prevent abuse by expats. Re sat reception then with our Comos 40 cm dish then reception on new Astra footprint still fine here at Colmar in eastern France.
colin
It seems 3 are 1 year in advance of the rest, EE are bringing in lower rates as directed by EU law this summer, IIRC 14p/min for calls, 4p text, and 14p mb data. Don't think they will bring in the same as 3 until directed to by EU law which I think is next year.
robertandjean
As far as we know the EU will bring about no roaming charges for all networks from 1 December 2015.If however people vote to leave the EU in Cameron's referendum in 2017 then this as well as benefits related to the EHIC health card and much more will be lost!
