Guest pelmetman
Paul- - 2014-06-16 9:59 PM The problem wasn't overnighters it was people living there all year round that created the problem, it's these who have spoiled it for everyone not the council. How so?........If they'ed introduced a overnight parking ticket system, along with a penalty notice if you transgressed.....................then at least the problem would be self financing ;-).............. Paul-
As your from the area you will remember the ticket office and that they charged to park. From what I can make out it was complaints from motorhome users and local dog walkers that made them stop charging. If they were to charge to overnight park then they would have a duty to care for the parking public, the liabilities for this would exceed any monies they made. If people want to park overnight by the sea, they can use the caravan parks just down the road at Anderby Creek, these have facilities available for safe disposal of waste.
