Aldi tablet~any good

Heh heh! - I thought the title referred to the bio washing tabs you can use in the loo.

As it is, I don't think that would help either the loo or the tablet. :D

PS, don't know anything about how good or otherwise it is, but at that price, probably worth a punt.

Although Tesco's Hudl is proven, has had some good reviews, and isn't that much dearer, so if I was in the market for a low price tablet, I might go for that instead.

PPS - unless I was buying it to give to someone else. :D

These are some reviews of the ALDI-marketed tablet

If £80 is the maximum you are prepared to fork out the ALDI offering is probably the best of the ultra-cheapie bunch, though spending a bit more for Tesco’s HUDL (currently at £99) might be worth doing.

(If I wanted a 7” tablet I’d almost certainly buy an iPad Mini - but that's over 3 times the price of the ALDI device and over twice the price of the HUDL.)

Neither the Aldi or the Hudl have 3g only wifi. Take a look at the HP Slate7 which comes with 3g & wifi and you get 250mb of data free each month for 2 years for those occasions when you can't get wifi. £99
