grumpygitles
Doe anyone think there is any value in using A395/A39 to avoid bottlenecks around Bodmin then rejoin A30 at Indian Queens. I tow a twin axle caravan.
Tracker
I have not lived in Cornwall for some years now but towing a twin axle I doubt that alternative will help much as it used to be quite tortuous in places. There is an alternative route using back roads but that too is unsuitable for towing. Are there still bottlenecks at Bodmin - there never used to be - only at the end of the Bodmin by pass years ago before the A30 onwards to Fraddon and Goss Moor etc was dualed but I was under the impression that that was no longer the case? But I might well be wrong and if there are delays at peak times there will probably be delays every where else too?
grumpygitles
Thanks Tracker over the moor dual becomes single carriageway causing hold ups on August Saturdays just looking for alternative but apparently non suitable. Patience reduces stress.
