gocro
Just got my new TomTom Start 25 I've down loaded the latest Europe map and it says that I can also download the Western Europe map , this would still leave 500Mb of memory for pics and poi's. Is there any advantage to using the smaller map if I'm in Western Europe(speed) or should I just leave as is?
Keith T
Not sure on a technical basis there is any right answer - but surely it wold depend on what scale mapping you look for if you buy a 'printed' map/ atlas. Personally, I but - for Uk use- one which is 3miles to the inch, rather than 10 miles, but that is a personal preference. For continental use I but the Michelin atlas, giving a more usable scale, but also use the fold out map when looking at longer distances, or to check what direction my next port of call should be.
