kavi99
Morning Good people i have a regulater fitted in my motorhome and have a blue butain gas bottle with a push down regulater fitting ! Because you have to fit the regulater on the bottle ! It means the gas will have to go through 2 regulaters !! Is this possible and if so is it safe ? Derek Uzzell
Welcome to the Out&AboutLive forums. A regulator is designed to take gas in at high pressure and output it at a reduced pressure. If you use two regulators ‘in series’, you would be feeding gas at an already-reduced pressure to the 2nd regulator (ie. the one fitted to your motorhome). This arrangement will not work. The simplest approach would probably be to replace your clip-on regulator with a ‘full pressure’ clip-on adapter. These are readily available in various designs - this is just an example http://www.towsure.com/product/21mm_Butane_ClipOn_Adaptor_for_HP_Hose
