robertandjean
If planning to stay on aire here this week end then note it will be closed for local fete and inauguration of the redevelopment of the river front area. However, the town will allow motorhomes to stay on the local municipal site for 5€/night, same cost as aire, so if passing through or want to visit event no problem. Must say though that camp site setting not great, unlike the aire, and understand site is also a little run down.

Thanks for the update, must say the redevelopment looks lovely, a bit more EU funding no doubt, still the aire must be a good little earner for the village though, and good use made of some otherwise fairly useless land, when we stopped over a few weeks ago I'd estimated they were getting in excess of 1000 Euros a week, a pity the UK local councils can't copy the idea, instead of chasing us all off. Currently parked up at Bazouges La Perouse camping car Aire, another delightful stop all landscaped and all free services, another for the notebook. Thanks for heads up on this aire Joe, will put it on list to visit next year when planning one of our trips. Good to find comments supportive of Aires on the forum.
