Lizzy
Did anyone see the spectacular sunset over Northants last night? That's what hubby and I are looking forwards to ....... sitting out with a cuppa or a glass of something watching beautiful scenery :-D
howie
Hiya Lizzy. Latest estimates give us around 5 billion years before the sun goes super nova and we all toddle off to oblivion, so make the most of it and stay happy.

howie
Everything is getting old and heading south i,m afraid Lizzy. That mention of tin baths brought back some happy memorys though. Whenever bathnight came along, the old tin bath was taken off the wall out the back and placed in front of the fire. It was then filled with a variety of kettles and saucepans full of hot water until almost full. Being the only boy and second youngest, I was always first in to the ribald and constant amusement of all my sisters. Not that I cared, and just to get my own back, I always made a point of having a piddle before getting out. Even now I still have a feeling of smug satisfaction when I think about it, and serves them right for all the teasing I had to put up with. They all grew up with spotless complexions, so you never know, I may even have done them a favour. Howard.

Geoff Bell
I sat and watched the sun go down at Oia in Santarina two weeks ago. Said to be one of the best places in the world. Well thats what the locals say, and they are certainly capitalising on it.
