rolandrat
Filled up today at my local gas depot and noticed it had gone up to 57p a litre, not a bad price, certainly much less than a garage forecourt. It was advertised as the cheapest in the area and no doubt it is. Long may it stay at that.

StuartO
I topped up at a motorway service station (for convenience, en route home) recently and paid 69 pence per litre. Quite a difference! The nearest LPG depot to us is about 5 miles away and although I usually go there, i worked out that diverting to buy cheaper diesel at a supermarket by more than 5 miles maxium would nealry always cancel out the saving. I suppose the same applies to filling up with LPG; there will be a sensible distance beyond which it isn't worth travelling as a special journey to make the saving. I only paid about £14 to fill up with LPG, so even with a 20% saving in the price of LPG by filling up later with a special journey, I could only have saved two or three pounds this time.
