crbtaylor Posted January 12, 2015 Share Posted January 12, 2015 We have the Dometic RMD8555 fitted to our 2013 Autotrail Delaware. Its suddenly stopped working, the control panel is dead so I can't select gas, electric or 12v. Its been working on gas for the last 10 days and the van hasn't moved. Any ideas? bolero boy Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 we have had issues similar to this with a thetford fridge/freezer in the past, sometimes, after a long period of being switched on, it suddenly goes off..... If it was like ours, it occasionally needs a reboot like a PC. if you open the outside lower vent and remove it, you can get access to the power harness. just pull out the plug, this will completely remove all power to the fridge, and then return the plug to restore power, this may kick it into action. this may also be acheived by turning the Sargent PSU right off by using the shutdown switch, and then turning back on...... good luck.
