bounty hunter
LV give 90 days on Premier Multi Trip and 365 days on single trip. C&CC give 180 days but you have to ask. Also give same cover for your house. John
myshell
As bounty hunter has said above LV give Premier Multi-trip cover for anyone under 79 years of age for a period of 90 days maximum, there is no maximum age limit for their single trip cover, but ,for customers 65 or over the maximum trip length is 90 days (366 days if under 65). You must also tell them of any pre-existing medical conditions and the amounts and type of drugs you are taking, my wife suffers from high blood pressure and takes 2 types of drugs to control it, LV where quite happy with this. We entered Italy via the 13 kilometer long Frejus Tunnel in France and traveled down to Sorrento staying mainly on Sostas with a couple of nights on motorway services (tolls on Italian motorways very reasonable for the number of miles covered) stayed for 5 nights at Camping Spartacus in Pompei, not the most salubrious of camp sites but just a short walk away from the main entrance to the Pompei ruins, (free entrance for senior citizens just need to show proof of age) used the local railway and bus service to get to Mt. Vesuvius & Herculaneum, IMO Herculaneum better than Pompei. Also worth a tour along the Amalfi coast and a sail to The Isle of Capri, with a visit to the blue grotto.
