Is there a special glue?. We thought of useing a old umberalla (water proof! ) & some cloth glue. Has anyone repaired thiers.Wayne.
isti2
When my awning was torn I had it repaired and a re-inforcing patch sewn under the damage, this was very sucessful and not expensive. If your damage is to the tunnel I would think a similar repair re-inforced with a glued patch would be fine. *-)
Ranger
Once you have sewn up the tear and made a good strong repair, you can get 'iron on awning repair patching' from most caravan and camping shops to cover up your stitches and make the repair water tight.
