Sitting duck and stern look

New camera with 20 X zoom.

The sitting duck was only 2m away. I had to back off the zoom to get it all in shot. Stover Lake next to a Caravan Club site near Newton Abbot.

The buzzard was about 6 m up the lamp and with the sun low in the sky could only look up its fundament.

If its the same bird, a month or so back it flew off when i was about 5 m from the pole and went to the next one. It did this from one pole to another for a half mile or so as I walked but perhaps it got used to pedestrians over time. Traffic does not worry it as upwards of 20.000 vehicles a day use the road. Its territory has been in turmoil and will be for another year with the South Devon Link road under construction There is a bright red streak through our normally green county now. It shows well on Google Earth just N of Torquay
