Fionadb1
Good morning everyone We are just in the process of having a senior gap year. Really need to have no data restriction wifi, hired a mifi from Spain which was absolutely brilliant, however for long term very expensive. Would like to watch a bit of TV and need to be in very regular Skype contact with my elderly mother, any experience of this would be very helpful. When I spoke to them yesterday they said TV may or may not be possible, which I understand. However just looking for a solution which must be out there somewhere. Off to Southern Europe and hopefully lots more! All help appreciated. :-S
markh1
I use an iboost all the time, you need to find a signal, then it connects and you're away, you can use all your devices from the one connection and it's wireless, I've never had a problem finding a connection, in uk and north Europe FON is widespread if you have BT internet then you can access FON free anywhere, if you're on a site it's easy, otherwise look for local free internet, most tic's in Spain have it as do lots of bars and fast food outlets, the iboost has quite a long range so it pick up even distant signals
Seanyboy
https://shop.fon.com/en/products/allhttps://corp.fon.com/enYou need to buy a FON router. It's a one off fee of about £30, they'll post it from Spain vi UPS (FREE) You can then use your iBOOST in conjunction with the FON box..which has to be plugged in to your router at home....don't worry if your not a BT customer....it'll still be compatible say if your a TALK-TALK or SKY customer. I've just ordered a iboost myself.

colin
We got our FON at half price back in December after reading this thread http://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/forums/Motorhomes/Motorhome-Matters/50-off-FON-Boxes-with-Voucher-Code/36796/ Worth a try to see if it's still an active code if you want to buy one. markh1
You don't need a FON box if you have BT as your ISP
