frenchman
Wifey peeled dealers sticker off bedroom window which has left a nice sticky mess. Any ideas what I can use without melting the window, don't want to ruin it.

daviddwight
Olive oil will remove most glue residue from things, and as it is water soluable it will all wipe of with a wet cloth.
Barney123
We find the best thing is PLEDGE (the furniture polish), just spray over the sticky paper, leave a few seconds and you will find you can scrape the paper of quite easy. We have tried other brands of furniture polish but they dont work.

Guest Joe90
I'm amazed no one has suggested "sticky stuff remover" brilliant stuff ;-) if anyone may be bothered with what residue it may leave just wipe the area with a soap moistened cloth afterwards. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mykal-Sticky-Stuff-Remover-250ml-x/dp/B000TAT4GM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1430579155&sr=8-1&keywords=sticky+stuff+remover
