francheezy
Hi, I have just bought a 2002 Sea Dinghy on a Fiat Ducato, can anyone tell me if the red key that comes with it is okay to use as an ignition key everyday? Many thanks for any replies. John
spospe
My understanding of the FIAT Red Key is that it is the master key from which additional keys can be cut / programmed and so yes, it can be used as the everyday key; but woe betide you if you loose it! Derek Uzzell
John While the Red Key is the most important in your case, if it is the only key you have it would be wise to explore obtaining supplementary keys that can be used on a daily basis. lennyhb
I wouldn't use it as an every day key, if you loose it you will have to get a new ECU, if you don't have any other keys or need a new key.
