zeddykay
Your collective wisdom much appreciated. We have a 10 year old Devon Firebrand on a Peugeot Boxer, which has served us very well to date! What, if any checks/ replacements should we do regarding the habitation area, eg gas pipes , water , electricity.? The base vehicle is serviced regularly, but we have never done anything internally as it all seems to work without interference. Are we living on borrowed time? Thanks in advance
Guest pelmetman
Cant say I feel the need to have a habitation service every year either :D .......... Although I suspect your gas pipes are due for replacement, and pressure testing the system would be a useful safety check, and maybe a clean of the fridge and fire burners ;-) .......... Rayjsj
Agree with pelmetman, any rubber gas pipes will need changing, they are dated. and a proper service of the fridge (which doesnt get done on normal habitation checks anyway ....why not ?) Water Filters etc., you can change yourself. Perhaps a service of the water heater gas burner and cooker. Ray
Will86
Do you have your house continually checked for what might happen ... nope ... then much the same goes for your mobile living. If it aint broke then ... ? Be aware of what can kill you ... Gas and its fumes ... Electrical items ... Fire ... Other people. Will.
