zombies
We are moving house soon and looking at a property that needs a new soakaway The land is sloping and the outlet from the new tank might have to be pumped up hill. On looking at micro stations I might be able to get away with it due to not needing a soakaway. So, anyone had one installed, quick job?
Guest pelmetman
We've had septic tanks at our last two houses, we love them, they save a fortune in sewage rates B-) ......... I assume your talking about the overflow from the septic tank, why do you need to pump it up hill? :-S ........ Could you not create a reed bed system? ;-) ........ zombies
I have had septic tanks for years and have no issues having one. The last soakaway was across the house access and now will have to go to the rear of the house which is on an incline. Current regs say it will need to be on the right soil etc and not on neighbouring land but as its an existing property I could get away with certain regs
