cleddytanhouse
My MH went into the Fiat dealer today. A few days ago the display showed that Hill start assist was not working. This note dissappeared after about 10 minutes. However, the display then showed the airbag symbol. Hill start assist does still work. The Fiat dealer has checked things out and it appears that there may not be an airbag fault, but, there is a problem with the display. It may require a new instrument binacle if Fiat agree......!!!!! Has anyone else had a similar problem. The Fiat dealer would also like feedback.
AlanS
Thanks for letting us know. There was a problem with the X250 display but not heard anything yet about the X290. Apologies to you but I hope this is a one off. Hope they sort it quickly. Alan
Geeco
No problems with my X290 dash in 7 months & 17,000 odd kms and a lot of very average roads. It is a pain when you experience electronic problems like you have identified hopefully Fiat UK will sort it for you. Good luck.
Steve928
My own X2/90 instrument cluster has been replaced and I know of 20 or 30 others so, yes, the problem has been carried over from the X2/50 to the X2/90. Presumably it's cheaper for Peugeot/Fiat to keep replacing clusters than to investigate and solve the problem; they are, after all, about making money and not about manufacturing perfect vehicles.
