Guest Peter James Posted August 20, 2015 Share Posted August 20, 2015 I remember seeing Cilla on stage at the Tory Party Conference and declaring Margaret Thatcher to have 'put the Great back into 'Great Britain'. So I think it was nice of the Labour Council to put politics aside and open a book of condolence to her in Liverpool Town Hall. I don't know if Cilla Black OBE maintained any connections with Liverpool. I saw Paul Grady speaking at Cilla's funeral today saying Cilla was 'a child of London .. errr .
