candapack
I notice that the organisers of the NEC show are promising that any new van bought there will be ready in time for "the new season". Is there an actual date they could be pinned down to? I suspect not. 8o|
docted
Chris methinks you are correct. If you wanted to travel to sunnier climes for winter that would be a different start date to someone who tours GB in summer, mind sometimes it is hard to tell the difference :-D

Brock
The new Consumer Rights Act says something along the lines of, "If the delivery isn’t time essential but another reasonable delivery time can’t be agreed, you’re also within your right to cancel the order for a full refund." I don't know how this applies to motorhomes but we might see a few more orders cancelled if they don't deliver in time for the new season! Caravan Club sites tend to open for the Easter school holidays and close after the October school holidays. Other sites probably do the same. Motorhoming is an all year activity so perhaps we don't have a season.

malc d
The start and finish of " seasons " are decided by, and for, business interests. ( For example : "Xmas starts in September ") Best ignored whenever possible. ;-)
