roamer62
Having been an experience caravanner, I have been searching for my first motorhome for 11 months now. Trying to keep things around 6 metres, I have seen a few Hymer B544 and just missed a lovely Hymer B564 (both 2003 - 4) . I am now shortlisting 2007 - 9 low profile models with a rear lounge- the Burnster Marano T595 at 6.3 metres; and the Dethleffs Fortero T5915 and Dethleffs Globebus T3. For the life of me, I can't see any real difference between the 2 Dethleffs models. Any comments from owners of said vehicles would be appreciated. Brian Kirby
From memory, I think you will find the Globebus is narrower (by 150 or so mm), which, IMO (and if correct! :-)), is a considerable advantage.
Derek Uzzell
As far as I’m aware all Dethleffs “Fortero” motorhomes were built on a Ford Transit chassis (hence, presumably, the “Fortero” name), whereas all Globebus “T”-series models were based on a Fiat Ducato chassis.
