motorhomeninja
We are in our 60s now, with a few minor medical issues. We are trying Spain over this coming Dec / Jan and if we really like it will look to do much longer in Europe next year. Currently with insure and go for our travel insurance but this has a max cover of 90 consecutive days. We would like cover for double that and I'm sure some of you out there know who to go to. We paid £138 for our current cover. Thanks, Graham
Brian Kirby
Indirectly related, but I suggest you read the attached string regarding absence from UK for longer than three months: http://tinyurl.com/nsfr99a
bounty hunter
Camping & Caravan Club cover up to 6 Months for approx £200 + loading for any medical conditions. In our case £9 for Arrythmia ( Pacemaker) which increased to £420 when reaching age 71. Don't think you need to be a member but there is probably a reduction applied Comfort Insurance used to do it but sure if they still do. Agaric
We have been using this company for the last few years and they do a long stay policy of 1 to 24 months up to the age of 75. They have always been the the lowest cost for the same policy when compared to others. https://www.holidaysafe.co.uk/b2c/index.aspx?id=64-307F55CECF9823ED4FB0473F89938F6
Dave225
Try the Caravan Club, they will do long trip insurance up to 185 days but retricted to one trip per annum, which is fair enough as if you stay away longer, you may not get back in. Seriously if you stay out over 1 year you become non resident etc unless you have agreed with HMRC that they will allow the trip.
