PJay
Make sure your insurance will cover you, for leaving unattended abroad. You don't say what period you intend. It may depend on whether it was high/low season PJay
Wirralian
Insurance companies will not generally cover your motorhome abroad if it is left unattended for more than 36 hours. Every Christmas I fly home for a couple of weeks and leave the van attended by friends on site. I have argued with my insurance company that during this period the van is more secure than on my drive at home. Reading MMM a few months ago I did think that the writer had got her insurer to cover her van whilst parked at Malaga airport for several weeks. But on enquiring futher I found that this was done in exceptional circumstances due to a medical problem. John
Bojitoes
Camping Los Gallardos in Los Gallardos near Mojacar, Excellent site and facilities. Many visitors stay 6 months of the year and fly back to the UK every couple of months for a week or so. We were told last week that there is a company which will take customers to either Alicante, (£30) or Murcia (£18). Site is not in any book / directory we have seen but we will definitely go back again for longer than 2 weeks. Bob
