Jonboymentalhealth
Hi all I have a swift escape 624, the battery is in side locker but it is accessible from under seat. It is connected to 120 w solar panel, my question is how easy is it for someone with limited dig skills to connect a 2nd battery? It was new battery this time last year Thanks
Tracker
Not difficult as far as diy skills go. What is more important is a knowledge of how electricity works, particularly 12 volt dc, cable sizes, fuses, connection options and suitability. There are many opinions on how best to connect a second battery but I have always followed the preferred example 2 in the attached. http://caravanchronicles.com/guides/how-to-connect-two-batteries-in-parallel/
