Dave225
If the attached article is to be believed then the migrant problem is spreading northwards. As a regular user of the port of Zeebrugge it has been pleasant, if that is the right word, to avoid the issues that occur at Calais. I do hope that this will not be changing. As the ferries from Zeebrugge are all overnight it will surely be a lot harder to stay hidden for that time. I do disagree with the comments regarding 'lax security' as I have found it to be quite rigorous, especially coming back to the UK. My outfit has always been searched carefully, even under the bed, each time, with my full permission. If the truck side of P&O's operation is similar then I am hoping that the article is a bit of scaremongering. http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/643611/Zeebrugge-Calais-Jungle-Belgium-France-migrants-crisis-refugees-Europe
Billggski
Five times in the last 12 months and no issues at Calais. They are more organised than other ports now, so the refugees may try their luck elsewhere.
