Comfortmatics, confidence is not inspired. The VW 4MOTION is superb and highly intelligent. Why on Earth don't Fiat put a proper auto box in the Ducato? I am guessing it was down to cost. To do that they would have to make a hwole new gearbox and torque converter drive system. This way they use the existing garbox. However, I would suggest your lack of 'confidence' is not wholly justified. I would suggest go have a test drive on one and see how you get on.
