Zydeco Joe
Our Czech Republic trip has started well with short stays at 2 sites both out of the ACSI book. First stay was at the Karolina (acsi 1044)close to our crossing point from Germany it was nice to arrive at it even if you have to drive down a 2K long narrow lane but no problems, cost of 13 euros a night. Second site took us south to the Dutch owned u Dvou Orechu site (1047) at a cost of 17 euros a nights stay. We have had a good walk from each of the 2 sites both in very quiet locations as are the sites themselves. This is our first trip to this country and so far so good it helps with food and fuel being much lower costs than Germany like fuel at approx 80p per litre. Len Salisbury
We travel every year to a motorbike rally 200 miles east of Prague and stop over in Prague on the ring road at Camp Drusus exit junction 21 in the direction of Brno. Excellent site with good facilities and 16 amp.
Zydeco Joe
Now at our 3rd ACSI site Camping Frymburk (1038) , at 17 euros a night. Right on the Lipno lake. Had a top class lunch in the village today for the a modest price compared to the standard of the meal. Not seen any other GB plates in the week or so we have been in the Czech Republic which is a same as it is working out to be a great place to tour, many Dutch & Germans.
