phalange
the rear wheel bearings on my hymer need replacing as the mot man failed them. It is a b694 tag with alko rear axles. Are the bearings standard fiat ducato or do i need to get them from alko? cheers
tonyishuk
My best guess would be Alko, generally Fiat take the view that anything behind the the drivers seat is not their responsibility. (And to be fair, sometimes front of the drivers seat as well !) Rgds
StuartO
Wheel bearings are generic things so a garage could simply buy the same size as your existing - and so could you if you have the necessary skills. I had a front wheel bearing replaced a few years ago and the garage used a trick of welding the two parts of the bearing together so they could both be pulled off easily. I replaced a trailer wheel bearing last year and the inner bearing was just a sliding fit so very easy to get off. replacing the bearings on a pair of Alko axles should not be rocket science.
