Don Madge Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 With many people heading to Portugal for the winter sun it's worth bearing in mind that the tickets on the Portuguese motorways are only valid for 12 hours. If you are planning an overnight stop on the motorway keep an eye on the clock. If you fall foul of the system not only do you pay the toll but you get a hefty fine as well.
