caggsie
I need some help please. Went to Bristol yesterday turned on fridge, worked. Moved on today to rousden, Dorset, and it won't come on. I put it on batter for travelling and that seemed to be ok. The blue light is on permanently, no flashing and no red flash light either. The fridge isn't on and I cant select any of the options to turn it on. Hubby has checked fuse and fuse box but everything else electrical is working. We've tried taking out fuse(in cab area) the blue light doesn't go out, is there a fuse actually in the fridge?if so where. On looking at the book there is no indicator of just blue light in trouble shooting. Is the fridge likely to be knackered.
caggsie
To update, incase the same thing happens to others. The circuit board is dead. £200 to replace. Ouch.
Robbo
Dometic have a 2 year warranty. If it's older, it might be worth asking for a contribution towards the replacement cost. I seem to remember there was a problem with condensation affecting the panel. I assume this problem was eventually resolved. Perhaps there was a recall to rectify the problem ????
