davidmac Posted December 24, 2016 Share Posted December 24, 2016 Hi,a Citroen HY was refurbished on wheeler dealers today, and Mike Brewer headed off to north Wales for some parts. Who did he see? Some fellow named Alan. Was it just to source a pinto engine and refurbished trafficators or to tap into Alans' knowhow of HYs'? Nice to put a face to a name !!!! aandncaravan Posted December 25, 2016 Share Posted December 25, 2016 That was in my previous life when I had Atlantic Motorhomes. It doesn't show it on the program, but we restored the entire van. From paint, rewiring, rebuilt gearbox right down to the Seat covers. Half way down this page : http://www.citroenhyonline.co.uk/gallery.php you will see a picture of the van being driven onto a trailer outside our old workshop. You will see the van is fully restored and even the new trafficators are in place. All by magic, without it even leaving Ed China's workshop!!! Great bunch of guys to work for.
