Simple logic but oh no. wouldn't suit everyone. There was an interesting discussion on Radio Devon about it the Easter before last. A landlord was bemoaning the fact the place was full of campers whilst all 5 of his holiday lets were empty. But another guy phoned in and said 'let them camp - just cut the rent of your holiday accommodatuion so local people can afford to live in them to alleviate the housing crisis'. *-) But it is the landlord class with the most clout in Government. :-S Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It will be seen that the changes are far from ‘instant’. To quote: "A formal consultation on the proposals took place between 27 May and 20 June 2016. The scheme and consultation responses were considered by the Teignbridge Highways and Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) at its meeting on 14 July 2016.
