On top their is a dome bearing to cope whit the swiveling of your front wheels. It is a classic McPherson strut. The only family who has still patents rights. And sold in the millions. Tried to be improved, but still standing as the most invented piece of art in front suspension. Check your driving height at the front and measure your spring reserve and dome bearing condition.
